I got a trade offer

here's my roster:

QB - hasselback, warner, eli manning
RB - fred taylor, lendale white, edgerrin james, warrick dunn, jamal lewis
WR - moss, owens, santana moss, matt jones

my runningbacks are not raking in points and im in need of someone who can add to stats

here's the proposal:

Randy Moss for: Chris Johnson and Marvin Harrison OR Donald Driver

Deal or no deal?

The other guy has in his roster:

QB - McNabb and Gus Ferrote
RB - Michael Turner, Felix Jones, Chris Johnson, Thomas Jones
WR - Andre Johnson, Donald Driver, Eddie Royal, Marvin Harrison, Marques Colston, and Greg Lewis

If the deal is bad, what is a counter-offer I can give that'll balance us out?

i kinda like the deal, i think it would make your rb depth a lot better while getting a quallity reciever in return.

Keep Moss. You do need more RBs but that is not the trade for you. You are trading the best fantasy WR for a RB who splits carries and won't get goalline work and an aging Harrison who might just be the 3rd or 4th passing option on his team this year. Offer Santana Moss, F Taylor, and Lendale White for Michael Turner and Marques Colston. The other guy probably wants insurance on CJ and Colston is hurt for a few weeks but super productive when he gets back. That will give you a legit RB who gets all the carries and improve your team. This is all assuming you have a flex spot.

I don't think the deal is that bad, but I would counter with Moss/Edge (worthless at the goalline) for Colston (I know he's hurt) and Thomas Jones. Huge upgrade for you and he gets Moss.

I'd wait and see if Moss has a big game this week with the easy matchup. If he does, you should be able to get more.

Not sure I like that deal because it's not a huge upgrade at rb and then all of a sudden your wr's aren't very good either.

ps - If you're going to do the deal take Driver. Harrison is done.

how long will colston be out for? 4 - 6 weeks? so at this point, i'd be shorthanded on receivers for 2 games right?

is santana moss a worthy receiver to hang on to or has he just had a spectacular start to the season and will eventually slow down?

will michael turner's stats slow down as well?

giving up moss seems like a big move for me, but at the rate cassel went last week with moss, i'm not sure if moss can produce huge numbers on a constant basis

as of right now, my trade proposal looks to be randy moss, fred taylor, and lendale white for michael turner and marques colston

I would let someone else worry about Moss. Seems like Cassel isn't much for throwing deep. That hurts Moss' value more than anything.

Chris Johnson isn't valuable as he's not getting the goal line work. You can get somebody better for Moss.
